Northeast RHD Cars & Coffee Mitsuwa 12/08/24

As the colder temps makes its way to the East Coast, some are putting their cars away and most of these car events are beginning to slow down. The truth is - we hate that it comes to this. So, of course when we get a day that the weather permits us to bring our cars out...we make sure and bring our cars out! After having a cold Kei Night & Friends last weekend, Northeast RHD had another event planned. This time, we have Northeast RHD Cars & Coffee! Where? At Mitsuwa Marketplace, Edgewater, NJ. Lucky for us...we had about 45-50 degree weather with the sun out. Beginning at 9am, at Mitsuwa Marketplace....you were definitely in the right place to arrive and have your Coffee/Tea of your choice for breakfast and stay to have your lunch later. After checking out the cars, it's a win-win if you ask me. So enough of my talki-.. typing, let's get to the cars!

Beginning with this Daihatsu Mira, I caught the owner right on time to tell me a bit about the car and to show me what under the hood looks like. Red with the white Volk Wheels is a beautiful combination.

I agree...the 90's was the golden era.

Such a beautiful setup with these Toyota Corollas. These tri-spoke Advan Wheels with the gold face adds a nice contrast to the black.

Seein' double with these Honda Z's.

Growing up in Trinidad, I'm no stranger to seeing Suzuki Jimny's. Actually, my brother owns an older model Suzuki Jimny. Either way, it's always cool to see them stateside. I must say this is a very clean example of one.

Representing!

Mr. Northeast RHD, himself, with his Toyota Starlet.

Ask these guys and they'll let you know - HONDA FIT IS ALWAYS THE ANSWER! Haha

A perfect Fit!...no pun intended.

Keepin' it cool and classy with these JDM sedans.

It's the details...

I had not noticed until later on that this Porsche Cayenne Turbo was right hand drive! Pretty cool to see here. Sorry to disappoint that I didn't get a photo from the front.

A lot of activity in our skies lately.

One car/brand I was not expecting to see here was a Peugeot. Another fun fact - my dad used to work for Peugeot a long time ago.

Definitely not something you see every day, but if you were wondering just as much as I was - it's a Daihatsu Midget II.

Who doesn't love a Nissan Skyline?

We also had a few modern Japanese cars in the mix.

Is that a...?

I must extend a big thank you to Northeast RHD for holding this event. It was a great turnout and the weather held up very well. To wrap up our day, food from Mitsuwa Marketplace got the job done. What did I get? A Spicy Beef Bowl. if you're in the area and never had it, give it a shot! For more information on these events, check out Northeast RHD on Instagram at @Northeast_RHD.
