Hagerty Garage+Social x Otto Guys Toronto 05/31/26

Coming off of our first car event in Canada, (if you missed out on that - see previous blog here) we went to a Cars & Coffee event, the following day.

So, today we are checking out Hagerty Garage+Social Toronto - an event also sponsored by Otto Guys. Being only a 30 minute drive from where I stayed, I'll be honest, that 30 mins drive felt a lot longer than I thought it would. The landscape here, is very flat, so maybe that's why. Either way, [I'm] Still hyped to check out more of the car scene here in Canada.

This setting here is very industrial and all the buildings are spaced out. I also had no issue finding parking for the little rental I had (a new model Nissan Sentra sporting Florida plates) and there were already cars there and still more coming in.

I know some may say that these classic, luxury cars may have been comfortable from factory - so why touch the suspension? I say, so that it can look like this! Such a clean set up on this classic Mercedes. Beautiful Beasts. Not everyday you get to see a Daihatsu Copen. A very clean example also!I'm still brushing up on my Audi knowledge. Audi S2, right? Rocking the Marlboro livery is such a head turner!Being a fan of the Nissan D21, this GMC S15 grabbed my attention. Very clean and sitting just right. The TE37 craze making it's way to high-end sports cars, is something I would like to see more of. Polished, too? I may be far from Italian but - Bravissimo! (Let me know how I did?) Such a damn good looking Z! Looks like every bolt has been touched. Feelin' the blue and chrome color combo on this GTI.So...G82 or G87? What's your pick?I know the full photo is not attached but this was a clean E92 M3, rocking some TE37's with center caps and an AP Racing brake kit.I'm sorry that this picture only shows a tiny bit of the supercharger inside this Miata. So, speaking more on where this event is held...this is an automotive storage facility owned by Hagerty Garage+Social. A quick trip to their website, states "Hagerty Garage + Social is more than just a place to store your cars. From a calendar full of unique social events to full-service maintenance and detailing, Garage + Social covers all aspects of collection management, as well as providing a space to celebrate car culture every day." (Hagerty Garage+Social Website)
As you enter the building, there's a glass case which gives a small peak of the large collection of motorsport memorabilia here.Everything from Art, Gear to Literature. It's all here. Food and drinks are also served and there is space for you to eat and lounge.
Walking further, you get to the storage area...I can't be the only one who remembers that Viper TV Show from back in the day. That was one of the reasons the Dodge Viper caught my attention.Ahhh...E46!...M3!I was able to run into the owner of this pristine Honda Civic Si close to the end of the show. Shout out to the other guys who were there. They put me on to @morningmeets for anyone in the area in search of car events, like I was. FL5 or FK8? Red or White? Both setups make it a difficult decision to make.A pair of Z's...The MK4 Supra's have always gotten the attention. But I thinks the MK3's deserve just as much praise. As I was snapping some more photos, the startup of this 'Vette was a loud one!2 Bad MF's!All the way across the lot, I spotted this R32 GT-R and had to walk over. Luckily, the owner was nearby and I was able to meet him. Speaking with him, he's owned this car for a very long time. I was asking him more about how the JDM scene is here. He said it was live and well. So, hopefully next time I'm back, I can witness more of that. The license plate explains it all. Even though it looks great, this Nissan GT-R T-Spec showed up and sadly, this photo does not capture the true color of it. Beautiful car!
Wrapping up this event, enjoy these cars leaving the event.
Well, I did not expect this to be such a long one but if you've made it this far - I appreciate you! It was cool to meet everyone I spoke with. Hopefully next time, I'm back in Canada I can capture more.
For more events like this, check out Hagerty @garageandsocial_toronto , @ottoguys.ca , @ottoguysusa. Also shout out again to @morningmeets for the heads up on future meet ups in the area.
Thank you for checking the blog, see you at the next event!
