Another Streets Unlimited Rally is upon us! This time we are headed to the Bear Mountain, NY area. Starting off my morning, I needed to retorque my wheels and adapters. Living in NY, not everyone has the space for even the simplest tasks on their cars, but either way, the job was completed. Not very long after that, we now have cloudy skies, wet roads and a drizzle. It worked out perfect for the ones who did not put any time into washing their cars for the event (I was definitely guilty of doing so).
As we gathered at our regular Meeting area, breakfast was a priority after working a late night. Panera Bread was not a bad choice! (that Chipotle Chicken, Egg and Avocado with added Bacon hit the spot!) The cars started to roll in, we had some time to catch up with old friends and met some new ones. Taking a look at the lineup...we noticed we had a very diverse group of cars.

For us, in the lower part of NY, Bear Mountain is a very popular place for driving enthusiasts. Very scenic, different elevations, and what most enjoy - the windy roads.
As we made our way through part of the mountain, and the traffic-filled roundabouts, we did lose part of the group. Not a problem as we were able to find a spot to wait for the other group to catch up. But of course, you can't have such a lineup of cars and not take this moment to grab some photos, right?
Our time on the road didn't stop here as there were more corners to tackle. Our next stop would be a rest/hangout spot.
After hanging here for a while, lunch time drew closer. We hit the last patch of twisty roads on the way to get lunch in Tuxedo, NY and parted ways from there. Shout out to everyone who joined us despite the inclement weather at the beginning of our drive. Hopefully everyone enjoyed another Streets Unlimited Rally and we hope to see you at the next one.
