Northeast RHD gather at Mitsuwa Marketplace NJ 10/06/24
After having a meetup at Liberty State Park, it was only right for Northeast RHD to head to a regular spot - Mitsuwa Marketplace, Edgewater, NJ. While I couldn't make their initial meetup, I figured I should catch up with them at Mitsuwa. As always, these are cars that aren't very common to see on your everyday commute. Most may look at the Japanese car scene and are able to call out the big names such as the Nissan Skyline and the Toyota Supra. That's not a bad thing, as these cars, over time, along with other names, became what we call today - JDM legends. But, many forget that there are many other cool cars that aren't so common. They're also not ALL cars, the Kei cars AND Kei trucks are also becoming rather popular as of recent. Now, about Mitsuwa Marketplace - it is a Japanese supermarket chain in the United States. Everything from your grocery needs, to food and dessert and Boba tea. At this location, there also a few other stores nearby, such as a bookstore, home goods store and a cosmetic store, etc. At this time, the light was harsh, making it a bit of a challenge for photos but I made it work.
