We are back again at Grassroots Edition! After my experience at the Season Opener, I could not find myself missing out on the Season Closer. With the summer officially behind us, the weather was just right, at about 65-75 degrees, dry! sun out!
At events such as these, the main show is already known to be great but sometimes taking a peak in the spectator lot and watching everyone entering can can be interesting.
The BMW 135i is difficult to come by nowadays, and even more difficult is it's M variant, the BMW 1M.
As usual, upon entering, we are greeted by the Grassroots Edition booth, the PRIME NYC booth and the DJ booth, occupied by Mr. Bojaq. Also, we have Rare JDM Parts, TRNSCND along with a few other booths.
And right past these booths, we also have the food section! But more on that later.
Right now, it's time to hit the green.

I have not had the luck of seeing too many RWB's in person. So, for me, this was a special sight.
A Porsche GT3 RS rocking Advan Racing GT wheels is a combination I cannot deny. Definitely one of my favorite wheels.
This E24 BMW 6 series was also at the Grassroots Edition Season Opener being trailered by an E53 BMW X5 sharing the same livery. Very cool setup.
Also, I am a fan of Subaru's...
Here, we have the Nissan Pulsar GTI-R or as some may know it - "Baby Godzilla."
It's a Nissan, powered by an RB...and it's a WAGON! Very clean setup on this Nissan Stagea!
Godzilla, himself.
Yupp, that's an SR20 powered Datsun 510.
Northeast RHD is in the building!
Although, I butchered this shot of the full car, I still needed to post it for you to see that this isn't any Nissan S13. A 'vert (removable hardtop) and an S13 with an S14 front end. What some may refer to as an S13.4.
This may be my favorite S-Chassis, but it's such a hard choice between the S12, S13,S14 & S15.

You might have seen this car in a previous blog. This is Mike Klausen's Corazon Subaru WRX. It was great to finally meet and speak with him and to get a better look at this car up close. With all the Subaru's at Grassroots Edition, I will do another blog post displaying more of the car, along with other cool Subaru's that were present at the event.
Not very long ago, I was asking myself about the Ben Sopra GT-R's. This is my first time seeing one in person. Such a beautiful kit!
If you have scrolled this far, I appreciate you and I hope you have enjoyed the photos. Now, we can get to the food!
The Pizza from Bella Ciao was recommended and I had my mind set on grabbing a slice, only to find out they were only serving personal pies. That does not take away from the fact that I was told that their pizza was great!
There were a few other options...
Dolato, Eat MY Franks, JinXins Watermelon, Mozzarepa...
Out of the options available, I ended up giving Mozzarepas a try. It definitely was not a bad way to end my day here.
Another Grassroots Edition event added to my list and yet again...satisfied with the quality, diverse display of cars.
Stay tuned, there may be another blog post from this event. 'Til then, see you soon!
