When given limes, one must make lemonade. But - what if you weren't given anything at all? You must seek ingredients yourself.

Here, we have an individual that I've worked alongside for the past 8+ years. I guess, at the time, I was just happy to have a job but he was always on the search for something bigger. We often spoke on ideas for making money outside of being a 9 to 5 employee. Not that there is anything wrong with a 9 to 5, but it's not for everyone. He realized early that it wasn't for him. Envisioning yourself in entrepreneurship may seem like a difficult task and it usually is, but you'll never know what you can handle until you jump in it. While he is not new to being an owner, owning a business is new on the list.

Very few can understand the woes of a business owner. The percentage of the world's owners are in the single digits, while the rest of the population are consumers. For many, the idea sounds cool. Making your own money, choosing who you would like to do business with, getting things done your way because you run the show - It sounds like a paradise. But, with those pros, come a lot of responsibility. Enough responsibility that may leave some with just a dream of entrepreneurship and not getting up and chasing it. But in his case, that did not stop him. Even with knowing the hardships that were to come, he pushed through and is now the owner of his own trucking company - Superior Vena Transport.

He started off with just a box truck for smaller deliveries and began working with a small team to get things rolling. Today, he is working with a tractor trailer and a box truck, looking for shippers and brokers in the Indianapolis area.
